Danielle is absolutely amazing, you'll never find a cake maker quite like her. Her cakes are truly unique and quite a party stealer, you'll be sure to get the WOW factor every time. Anything you come up with, any idea no matter how big or how small, or how crazy, Danielle will produce the cake of your dreams and match it to what you have in mind and give the best suggestions to bring it together. I've had three truly gorgeous cakes made by her so far; our wedding cake with a sea theme and St Michaels Mount beautifully handpainted on it; our wedding anniversary cake, very simple with hand painted elements of our wedding, just as I wanted; and now my AMAZING birthday cake shaped as a book and with my favourite scene of Alice in Wonderland - guess what - the cover also gorgeously painted by hand by Danielle, truly visually stunning!

“For our wedding cake, I wanted something more original and unique than the standard sugar craft decorated cake. This was no easy task! Eventually, in one bridal magazine, I came across a beautiful cake that was hand painted, but finding someone who could do this locally for me was difficult…until I came across Danielle. Danielle was fantastic; on our first meeting, she was listening to me and busy sketching our cake design at the same time! She was keen tot know what wedding flowers I was having so that she could replicate these on the cake and, as my husband and I were having a summer wedding in a country riverside setting, incorporated dragonflies and butterflies too at my request, with the vibrant blue of the dragonflies picking out the blue of the bridesmaid dresses. Danielle’s expertise and knowledge recognised that a painted cake alone may bot look as special and suggested that some delicate sugar craft flowers, to match my wedding flowers, were added to create more definition. Danielle was also keen to liaise directly with our florist to ensure she depicted the right flowers and matched our colour scheme. There really was no stone left unturned! On its own, the cake looked stunning, but with the wedding bouquets all around it at the reception, it took on a whole new dimension.
Our cake looked amazing and tasted superb! None of the guests had come across a painted cake before and all commented on its originality. I had the day of my dreams and have the man of my dreams… I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Danielle and her talents to anyone who wants something more unique to ‘put the icing on the cake’ of their day!”
